well,im going thrifting with my sister today, because really, you can just wash the clothes. anyways,im wondering,do they have any really trendy clothes there? like cute flatts, and maybe those hats with a bow on it,ripped jeans, things like that? and patterns? just wondering. thanks!
I am a thrift-store whore! I love it! You never know what you will find in there! I go at least once a week because they get new stuff in every day. I can't guarantee what they have there, but I always seem to find something cute and trendy. Just a tip...I don't know where you are from, but in upstate NY, Goodwill is the best place. They have lots of new stuff. When Target gets rid of their end-of-season and clearance items they send them to Goodwill and you get it really cheap! Don't get discouraged if you don't find anything today- go back next week. Soon you will be a thrift store whore just like me! :) [ jamebame's advice column | Ask jamebame A Question ]
pockets answered Tuesday January 30 2007, 4:11 pm: I get the majority of my clothing from thrift, consignment, and vintage stores. I go thrifting every Sunday and I get something I love every time. You'll be able to find a ton of shoes, since flats were popular years ago, there will be a ton in thrift stores now. You probably won't find ripped jeans but you can find jeans TO rip yourself. Airie answered Tuesday January 30 2007, 2:27 pm: sure! you know i shop there myself sometimes. i was surprised, you can find a lot of good brands like abercrombie, aeropostale or even bloomingdales. the only thing is that most of the clothes might be kind of old-fashion but i'm sure you could find some cute stuff there. hope i helped!
