There is practically a phobia for EVERYTHING... so is there a phobia for like if someone is scared of bug poisons/insecticides/ant killer/bee spray/etc.?

Iophobia- Fear of poison
I scanned pretty quickly and that was the only one I found. This was the website I used, if you want to look again, and I think they have some seacrhs if you want to describe the phobia. If you were just curious I would still recomend going to it it's pretty hilarious. There's this huge long word for being scared of long words. LoL. Sorry I couldnt find anything better than that. Good luck, and I hoped I helped a bit.

theymos answered Monday January 29 2007, 10:16 pm: They just make those fancy "-phobia" words by stringing together greek words. Fear of insect poison would probably be called Entotoxiphobia (ento=crawling things, toxi=poison, phobia=fear). I don't know any greek, so I might have put the words together wrong. A psychiatrist would just call it toxiphobia(fear of poison). [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
