But focusing on georgetown, thats a pretty good school, and i was wondering what my GPA should be to get in there also if anyone knows any extra activities or classes they look for, or know what would help me stand out. also with other colleges-- If i were looking to get into an ivy leage school like yale, what should my GPA be
bernie_gabrielle answered Thursday January 25 2007, 11:56 pm: 4.0, for Georgetown and the Ivies. Lowest 3.8. And amazing extra-curriculars, be distinguished...yeah, I'm 15 too. I'm going through the same hell as you. I have at least one extra-curricular every day of the week and a 3.9 GPA. Have fun. [ bernie_gabrielle's advice column | Ask bernie_gabrielle A Question ]

They will find out what your GPA should be, any classes you should take while in high school, any extra curricular activities, such as that.
Some schools like to see X amount of hours of volunteer work in your community on your application. That's something else you need to find out about.
