hope that helped:-D

I'm the setter for my school's team,
so I think I can help.
The key to perfecting a set is repetition.
(You're probably thinking but I DO practice alot!)
Well by repetition, I mean ALOT of repetition.
I'm required to set 500 balls before games.
Yeah, its alot of work to perfect a set.
Try setting up against a wall, this way
if the ball isn't reaching the wall, or
when it comes back it goes over your head, you
know that you're not setting correctly.
Keep practicing until you have control over
the ball. Control is vital.
The ball should never spin.
Setting is also of leg muscles.
You should be COMPLETLEY under the ball.
*If you happen to 'miss' the ball, it
should hit you square in the forehead*
Now, get under the ball, feet firmly planted
into the ground. While in ready position with
your hands above your head. As you
recieve the ball, slightly "absorb" the
ball (By bending your knees a tiny bit)
Bent your elbows and use your arms and
legs to release the set.
