okay so my boyfriend and i recently split up(friday the 19th) and we're still very close. we are going to lunch on friday since we have a half day to talk about everything and possibly go back out. (we both want to we just have to get things straightened out) so what are some things we can do to please both of us? like compromises? it's probably hard since you don't know our relationship but like in general.. talking on the phone..hanging out with friends.. going out instead of staying in.. things to make our relationship run smoother than fightingg. sort of like guidelines to set.. any ideas would be very helpful thanks!

Teza answered Tuesday January 23 2007, 5:46 pm: It is hard to answer this not knowing why you guys broke up in the first place but I'll try to help. Before you guys start going back out, you both need more trust. If you both can trust each other, there shouldn't be a problem. Have girl's nights & he should do the same with the guys. If you spend too much time together, chances are you might get tired from eachother but that might not be the case. If you guys do go back in a relationship, be honest. If something bothers eather one of you about each other, talk about it and tell the truth. That way you guys can fix the problem before it leads to break up. Try not to argue about stupid things and both of you should try to be more reasonable understand where you're comming from. I hope everything works out. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
