the 1st time... scared...

Question Posted Tuesday January 23 2007, 12:48 am

hi. i had sex for the 1st time on the night of january 20th. it is january 22nd and i am still randomly bleeding. its not blood like period blood, its thinner and lighter in color.like a wound. i know the 1st time you have sex you bleed and it hurt a lot so i was expecting it. has it been too long though, for me to have been bleeding? my boyriend used a condom and he did not cum. he said that there was absolutely no sperm. We waited until the condom was on to do anything. however, i have read about conceptional bleeding and im worried. im so stressed and nervous that i may be pregnant. what should i be thinking right now?

ok, my personal opinion is that you are not pregnant. Because it was your first time, your cherry popped (your hymen), so it might bleed for a few days, even up to a week (anytime after that, see a anonymous nurse or doctor. Skin was torn, and so it will bleed. Dont worry about it.Just stop stressing, and wear a light pad. Its only been four days, you should be ok. IF you are still really nervous then get a pregnancy test. But honestly, i really dont think thats the case

Hope I helped
Good luck

Doubt that your pregnant if your bleeding. It takes 7 days for a sperm to reach an egg, and only happens between 5 and 14 days after your period. So im sure your fine. You may still be bleeding because your stressed. Try to lighten up.

Ok first off EPT doesn't stand for Early Pregnancy Test, it stands for Error Proof Test. You can get early pregnancy tests though, so if you are really worried you can take one of them. You will probably bleed on and off for the rest of the day, if you miss your period next time around I suggest you take another test about a week after your missed period. If it comes out positive tell your boyfriend, tell your mom/dad, go to the doctor and start thinking about your options. If it comes out negative still wait about another week or 2 then take another 1 just to be sure. Hope I helped...

It's normal to bleed after sex. Usually it lasts a day or two, and it doesn't bleed much. He broke your hymen & that's why you're bleeding. Expect it to hurt the next few times.

But if he used a condom, there's only a 2% chance you could be pregnant. I doubt you are though. If you're really that worried, take a ept [early pregancy test] and reassure yourself.

You're fine though. No worries! =)
