im so confused. i want to be a pediatrician and my dad said it would take like 10 years. he says i would have like 4 years in college, then 4 years in med school, and then 2 years on the job or whatever. is that right? how do i know what classes i need to take in college and what im mostly worried about is what classes i need to take in highschool to have that job.

I'm not exactly sure how long your college years would be, but I know it takes an estimated 8 years. Like the person before me said, you should talk to your guidance counselor, and also, I'm pretty sure that if you research that background information, you'll find it pretty easily. ]
The best thing you can do is to go to your school guidance councilor. They will do everything they can to find out everything you need to know about steps you need to take to reach your goal. They know what classes your high school has to offer that may help.
That's a part of what they are paid for, so take advantage of the help. They want you to go to college and will do what they can to see that you get there, and achieve your goals. ]
