LagunaBabe answered Monday January 22 2007, 3:42 pm: I have a few (hopefully, helpful) suggestions for you -- I would talk to them both, and ask them why they do not want you get your ears pierced. After, make sure not to be defense, but explain to them your reasoning for getting your ears pierced. I'm sure if you have good reasoning for it, and you can understand the points they're making, you'll probably be able to get them pierced. [ LagunaBabe's advice column | Ask LagunaBabe A Question ]

clarayow answered Monday January 22 2007, 11:04 am: I was like you. My parents didnt allow any piercings on me. But I just went ahead and did it. They nagged a while but they can't un-pierce me.
There really isn't much to talk to your parents cos most of the time they pretty much leave no room for negotiation for such stuff. Just go and find a reliable ear piercing shop and make sure you take good care of your ears. That way, you're already proving to your parents that it is alright to have piercings and that you can handle them. [ clarayow's advice column | Ask clarayow A Question ]
