For band you would probably want to tell about those things plus games and parades attended. Maybe their best played song, too.
Talk to the band instructor for added input. They may have something memorable to say to the departing seniors.
Also, talk to some of the band students. To get some quotes from them give the page a more personal touch for those who are in band.
If you are still unsure as to how you should go about it, ask your teacher what would work best. I mean, hey, they are getting paid to help you put this together, right?
vilelove answered Monday January 22 2007, 12:46 am: hey. well make sure you include who teaches/sponsers it. Other stuff you may include are how long ago has it been around, who started it, what they do (marching band, right? they go to the football games, march with the drill team, compete, have concerts, etc.) and that kind of stuff. Like interesting facts about it if you know any or can figure out any. Maybe they won a competition or mention what place they were in this year's competition.
Example:
The Marching Band has been a part of Lincoln High since 1999. Mr. O'Brien teaches band and they practice almost every day of the week in the football field after school. The drum majar is Sarah Gibberd, a senior. She's done a great job!
Mr. O'Brien started the marching band along with the football coach so that students interested in music could feel like a part of Lincol H.S. and to give the football players encouragement. The Marching Band also competes every year in the Battle of The Marchign Bands and this year it won 3rd place in this competition thanks to its wonderful, talented members.
That's an example... something like that... I hope I understood your question right and I hope I could help. if I didn't get your question right please let me know so I can give you a different answer based on your actual question. [ vilelove's advice column | Ask vilelove A Question ]
