Am I grown, Now?

Question Posted Saturday January 20 2007, 10:14 pm

I'm in college now and I kind of want to do things my way. (My family doesn't want me to have a car right now although i had one at home.) I just want to buy a car and work in a decent place where i please. when i was at home I was told where I could work, what hours I could work, where i couldn't drive. And, very overportected and dominated. Am I at the point in life now where i can start making my own decisions and not be wrong.

Hey. If you're in college now than you're definitely at the point where you can start making your own decisions. Your an adult now. Although it never hurts to get a little advice from mom and dad =). But yeah, you can make your own decisions now. I really hope this helped and good luck =).

youre in college now so it IS time for you to make your own decisions. cause having your parents tell u what to do not only sucks but also isnt good for you, because you need to learn how to deal with things and be independant for the future. so yes you are at the point in life that you should start making own decisions. :D

well, you never know when your decisions are gonna be wrong or not but yes, you are at the age where you are able to make decisions for yourself. you're on your own now and no one knows yourself better than well, you.

You're in college now? Jeez I would be doing what I wanted to do now if I was you. As long as you're not impacting yourself financially, then go for it. you're an adult now and deserve to make your own decisions. Your family should recognise that. And if you live on campus, then theres even more of a reason to be able to roam free. I'm 16 and I cant stand my mom always limiting my driving to school and such.
You deserve some freedom man.

Now that you're in college, you are officially out of most shelter and into the world. As long as you're paying for it, this decision is totally up to you.

That having been said, you are not at a point where you can make your own decisions and not be wrong. No one is! You're bound to make mistakes, but you're going to have to mess around a bit before you decide what's right and what's wrong.
