Its also a girl on my friends lst named jennifer who is also albino.
You dont "get" albinism. Its a genetic disorder. Both parents have it in thier genetic traits but dont have to be albino themselves. If both parents have this trait, its a 50/50 chance that their child will turn out albino. It effects your skin color and your hair color. (lack of pigment) Albinos can be any race. (I'm Black)
How does it effect my life?
It doesnt really. I live life as a normal person. I have boyfriends. I have friends. I go out and party. The only thing is albinism effects some albinos' eyes, and it effected mine. I can see, but im considered legally blind. I cant drive and i cant see far away. So i just sit a little closer. In school i copied friends notes instead of trying to read the board, and everyonr understood. And i know your wondering, Do i get picked on. People on pick on you when they dont understand. And even if they do understand, and they still pick on me, it really doesnt bother me because EVERYONE has gotten picked on once before.
