I thought it was stupid, but I went anyways. The doctor looked at me from across the room, asked a few questions, gave me a perscription and that was it. The appointment took about 10 minutes. Putting this in simple terms, what I got was a face wash and a cream. The face wash goes all over your face and other parts of your body that might be affected by acne such as your back. The cream goes on afterwards only on the blemishes and you don't wash it off. My acne was gone in 2 days of using this stuff. No lie. It is wonderful. Good luck! :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]

The topical (cream) medicines did not work for me, so they put me on an antibiotic called Minocylcin. This cleared up my acne within probably 2-4 weeks. The drawback to the antibiotic is that dermatologists don't like prescribing it before you're 15; although, I got on it when I was 14. Also, you can only stay on it for six months at a time.

It was a sulfur cream that had scientific evidence that it literally kills pimples, and reduces blemishes way more effectively than OTC stuff, and of course the antibiotics fights the bacteria on your skin internally. It helped my skin so much. It actually went away within a week. But even though I saw dramatic improvement within a week's time, I still had to keep up with it every day for 3 months. It sucked, but it was worth it.

It cleared up the acne REALLY fast. I'd say it took about 2 weeks for it all to be gone. I swear it's like a miracle worker! haha
the answer from my feedback is: well, idk it does help with the redness alot, but i don't know how bad your acne is. Mine wasn't that bad and in my opinion, it did help the first day i used it. I know it's embarassing going to school and seeing all these "clear" people. But trust me, it will be worth the week to 3 weeks it takes to clear everything up. I was so confident when i went to school and my face was clear. So just try to think positive and it will be all worth it in the end. <3 [ AllYouNeedIsAshley's advice column | Ask AllYouNeedIsAshley A Question ]
