Question Posted Thursday January 18 2007, 10:17 pm
ok,well i have angled bangs that go off to the side. my hair grows suuuppeerr fast and i got my hair cut like two weeks ago,and my angled bangs got REALLY long! i dont know how to cut them so they are still angled, could you help? like in steps? if i mess up i dont care, because they'll grow back in a heartbeat. but could you give me steps so i know how to do it each time? also is it ok to use saftey sissors or regular sissors? cause i dont have hair dresser sissors.... thank you so much!! :]
I prefer to do them when they're dry.
That way I can know exactly how short to
cut them without having to worry about
them shrinking as they dry.
Now you can either use scissors or
a razor. I like to hold the hair I'm
cutting in between my middle and pointer
finger, and gently tug straight down leaving
some hair hanging out underneath my fingers.
(This is the hair you're going to cut,
so move your fingers up and down depending
how long or short you want them)
Now angle your scissors in the angle
you want the bangs to be, and gently
and slowly snip off at the bangs.
I like to randomly cut off some pieces
on top because the choppy look adds
deffition to my face. After I've cut them
I run a razor along the bottoms to
make them look less straight and precise.

-wet my bangs
-then i got sheers(hair cutting scissors, i suggest getting them otherwise it might get messed up)
-Then kinda hold your between your fingers and slant them to the angle you want.
-Then cut.
I suggest cutting off less then you want just incase you mees up you will have seom hair left to fix them. Also if youdont wanna risk it you can go to the hair dresser and have them cut it and its like 5 bucks if that. Or see if one of your friends is good at it and have them do it, cause it hard to do on yourself.
runawayxlove answered Friday January 19 2007, 3:17 pm: hey, i woudlnt do it yourself. i had bad experiences with that. even if your hair does grow fast you still could do some damage for a while. just have the hair dresser do it for you for like three dollars. long bangs are also in. maybe there cute? In the hair accessories section, you can find a pair of scissors made for cutting hair. Mine cost about $8. What I would actually do, were I you, is to go to your hairdresser and ask him/her to show you how to cut your bangs for between haircuts. The hairdresser would likely be happy to show you if you reassure him/her that you will be coming back regularly for your trims. Otherwise, they may offer to cut your bangs for just a few bucks.
Hope I've helped.
