BIRTHDAY BLUES
my birthday is this friday.. do you think its wrong to give out invitations like.. on thursday if the party is on friday night? its at the movies. or should I move it to like saturday?
also, my family doesnt have alot of money now, so we cant really afford to have a big party. I'm turning thirteen. I wanted to invite 10 people.. but thats kinda expensive to go see a movie, so should i reduce it to five (thats kinda hard since i have alot of good friends) or just make the party at home (then i'd have to decorate and stuff..). i cant have sleepovers too.. cuz my parents dont like those. but im okay at making cookies though they take like 1-2 hours to make. ughhh this sucks badly. i have money in the bank, but what are some other ways to get some extra cash? I cant do them next week, but maybe later so my money can be balanced in the future.
otherwise, what are some other VERY inexpensive (I can only spend 50 dollars (or less) on this party!! I dont want my whole bank account to run dry!) and like.. very fun! i dont want the party to be a drag.. and im only inviting my closest friends, since its funner that way. and what should i make my invitations out of? or should i just buy it.. i dont want them to be lame.. but at the same time, not too pricey.
or should i just move my whole party to some other day? and would it be lame on my bday to wear those tiaras that say like "birthday girl" or something to school? heh.. thanks for answering my huge question!

make the party saturday no one likes goin to party on fridays(tired from work or school). bring 5-7 friends and tell them to bring there own money.make invitations out of construction paper and decorate it with different stuff to make it interesting.for extra cash in the future offer to babysit,do extra work around the house,extra work around your neighbors houses,or try makin cool things that nobody have and sell them.to make the party a bit interestin you can plan a day of jus goin different places for fun or causing trouble(that's always fun)only wear a tiara to school if it makes your outfit look awesome and you like a princess.

hey, well i usually give out my invitations 2-4 days before my party. what i think is fun is a mall and movie party. the mall part is basically just shopping with your friends and looking at guys [=. have them bring there own money for that part. as the for the movie tickets, making them pay for themselves is extremely rude. compromise(sp?) with your parents. instead of having 10 have 7 or 8. i love birthday tiaras! i think there so fun! who cares what people think. if you like it then wear it.

i think that you should just give out the invitations on thursday and have your 10 friends over on saturday night. i give out invitations late too, and i was really worried people would think that was weird. but no one cares, everyone's just happy to be able to hang out with their friends. and for decorating, just pick one room to hang out in and clean it up and you dont have to work that hard on decorating. then just buy some junkfood , which wont cost much, and it will be fine. it wil probably take less than day to decorate and stuff if its only 10 girls because i had 30 people and i cleaned the room the day of the party. if its only 10 people its probably just like a hanging out party, so you probably have like ipod speakers or a stereo or something so you can ddance which is fun. but if people dont want to do that then you can just rent like scary movies. if its all girls most parties i go to we're occupied just talking . for invitations you should just type it out on word with like cute fonts and a border and then fold it..thats what most people do. personally i would never wear a tiara that said birthday girl and i think its lame but you can just like have your friends decorate your locker. but if you want to wear it it might not be weird where you are.
