Being too clingy?

Question Posted Tuesday January 16 2007, 2:08 pm

Ok, so me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years...we're 16. We used to be so great and happy, until this past year. He seems to be changing faster than I am. I haven't noticed until him and some of my friends pointed out that I'm way too clingy, I call him too much and want to hang out too much with him. I can't control it, I've tried to but it ends up being the same. He's frustraited with me lately and it's hard to leave him alone. I want it to work I'm sick of this.

You really need to try to control it.

I had that problem. I didn't realize it. When I did.. I couldn't really stop it because he was my ... only good friend? It lead to a break up.

Just do something else and limit your calls to 1-2 times a day.

HANG OUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

Rent some movies and kill some time that way. You could work harder on homework to distract you?
Go to the mall or a park?

Give your friends more attention but don't ignore your boyfriend.

Start a new hobby :]

What .. caused you to be "clingy" ?
Everything was great until.. what?

What happened? Something must have happened to make you get closer to him.

He just needs some space.

Smile, say hi and give him a hug/kiss or something and tell him you're going to hang out with your friends.

ok peaches. peaches are fruit, fruit is good food. good food makes you happy. if your happy your having fun. when youre having fun you dont think as much. so eat more peaches.

orrr...

you could hang out with YOUR friends more. just relax, limit urself to 1 maybe 2 calls a day. it'll be fine.

I agree with twistedlover. Just find something to do and don't call him everyday. Tell him your sorry about that and just try to give him some space. Everybody just needs some time alone.

you need to try to do things that will keep your mind off him and not be so clingy and if you dont change than you might not have a boyfriend to cling to much longer only call him 2 everyother day and try to give him space its easier said than done but if you dont than your'll regret it hope i helped
