WHEN I TRY TO IM SOMEONE, IT WON'T LET ME!
What is wrong!?!?! i tried shutting off my computer, & coming back on, but it still won't work. Whats goinig on?

I have AIM classic/orginal. the person didn't block me. & if its a firewall how do I get rid of it.. & i can get on AIM. but, when I hit the little IM button, nothing happens. like the screen doesnt pop up.. & then I can hear people IMing me, but nothing comes up..

Firewall problem?
Computer Virus?
Server issues?
Blocked by the person you're trying to message?
Faulty internet?


You should really be more specific... what program are you using? Can you sign on at all?

i'm not sure this would work.. but maybe try uninstalling your IM system, then re-installing it.
or you could possibly have a virus?
