Question Posted Saturday January 13 2007, 7:18 am

16/f

as much as i'd rather not go, i'd like to set up an appointment with a gynecologist. i'm wicked paranoid and i wanna go to make sure everything's working right down there. lol. plus, i want to get tested for any STDs just to be extremely sure i don't have anything.

is there a place i could go to that's anonymous? it'd be awkward asking my mom to take me.

The free clinics are great for that they ask for a name but you can give a fake one which would make it a whole lot easier, You will be treated like an adult so you dont have to worry about being treated like a child and they will make you feel comfortable I dont know of any from the states but you can look up free clinics on the internet and Im sure youll find some in youre area
Good luk I hope I helped

Well i think you should go because if you go alone it might be scary because you might be alone in a room with a man that you don't even know if he's a rapper.

It shouldn't be awkward asking your mom to take you. She's your mother, and you have to go sometime. Anyways, I don't think there's a place you can go that's anonymous, but planned parenthood might be able to help.
