Okay, so first thing...what's a cover band? Like Naked Radar is a coverband for Blink 182 or something like that? I'm not sure if it's a "cover band" but something maybe remotely close to it?
Also, my bff is performing tonight at some place with 2 other bands and his band is the closing band..is there a real significance in being the closing band?
Also, what would you do at band stuff like that? I mean it's held at a restraunt and they have pretty strict rules so do you just sit and watch or what? Thanks =]

hey, well i cant answer your first question because im not sure. but i can anser the other two. well being the closing band is a great honor. its the last band of the night to play and being in that role people will remember you the most. its sorta like the grand finale of the night. also since its in a resturant people will be eating and socializing. so dont think that you have to be completly silent.

Okay, a cover band, is a band that only plays cover songs. like album covers? most of the time a cover band plays from a certain decade, and tehy'll play all the cover songs and most popular songs of that decade. but there can be bands that strictly play songs that another band did, but those are called tribute bands.
and most of the time, yes, there is a significance in being closing band, big fanalie if ya know what I mean. its a big thing getting a place to play, so of course.
and since its at a resturant, most of the time people are eatting, and tehy're sort've off to the side playing, but yes ppl watch, its entertainment for the returant.
