cheer up song?

do you think its weird to dedicated a song to my friend who is a girl? im just asking cause i want to dedicate a cheer up song to her because shes pretty much upset about her parents divorced and all
which is Keep on Keepin' by jojo and use my shoulder-jojo if u dont know the song please just look at the lyrics here:

I definitely think "My Shoulder" by JoJo is the best choice, I think it fits and is a better song to cheer her up. :)
