Fatcat07 answered Monday January 8 2007, 4:38 pm: both of the people who answered this question before me are right. In september i was diagnosed with type two diabeties. I am a male 5'10" and at the time i weighed 285, but the last time i wieghed i was 260, and i can tell that i am still losing. All I had to do was use sugar substitutes, like splenda and all that good stuff, but Splenda is too damn expensive, so i use the generic brand, or the grocery store label. It comes in large quantites just like regular sugar and it is a little bit cheaper than splenda. It taste jsut like sugar and it will take the fat off quick. MikeCFT answered Monday January 8 2007, 1:09 pm: Depends on the kind of sugar. If you're talking table sugar like the kinds in doughnuts, cakes and other sweets then it's zero.
If you're talking about fructose or fruit sugar- then that's ok because its natural and comes from fruit. Don't want to have too much- don't worry about the grams- just don't eat 5 bananas a day or doughnuts at all. If I had to give you an estimate- I would say below 15-20g a day and that's only from natural sugar sources (lactose, fructose, etc.) not sucrose. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]
egotrippn answered Monday January 8 2007, 12:10 pm: As little as possible, but if you go to a GNC center,(they sell vitamins, weight training supplements.etc) they have pamphlets, and other books, to help you figure out EXACTELY, what you want to, and how far you want to take it.. YOUR right, the diet your on plays a "MAJOR" role in weight reduction, or Fat burning process....hope this helps, Good Luck... [ egotrippn's advice column | Ask egotrippn A Question ]
