i def. do not know what he is talking about so you might want to ask him about it. but the girl below me is right,new france is in canada and the english,french,and british people settled there ukranians werent certainly the first people in new france you might want to ask him what hes talking about because i woudl be totally confused too.I checked everywhere and i couldnt find anything on ukrianians and canada.I went on wikipedia and it said nothing about the Ukranians being the first people to settle in new france only that like they have some ukranian churches in canada? ill give you the link if you want to check it out:
