Okay, first you need to breath...and chillax. Haha. Just pretend as if this person was the same gender as you. Act around them as you would with your friends...just don't get to girly/boyish.
Get to know this person before trying to persue a relationship. girls/guys like people with confidence so if you can't talk to the opposite sex, it's not going to help with persuing a relationship. Just know that. No one's going to judge you at first glance. Let them get to know you as you get to know them...and oh yes one mroe thing

Try this. When you talk to the oppisite sex, talk to that person like you have no interest in them relationship-wise and they will loosen up and so will you. Try it.
