How many miles should you run per day to train for football?

ya, ive been out of football 4 about 2 months and i am probably out of shape, how many miles should i run a day. i was thinking 4, what do you think

i was in football. this is the truth:keep running until you feel like you will throw up because that is what coach will do to you.

Start of with like 2 and every week increase the amount of miles you do per day. So week one you start with 2 miles then the next week go to 3 or stay at 2. But don't start of right away with doing 4 because that can hurt you.

i think you should run atleast a mile or two.
