If I delete Internet Explorer 7 [mainly because I think its crap..], and only use Firefox as my main internet browser, is that okay? I was about to uninstall IE yesterday, but I wasn't sure because it said 'Firefox may rely on Internet Explorer' blah blah blah. Will I still be able to uninstall it without any problems?
trlblzr4u answered Wednesday January 3 2007, 6:08 pm: Unfortunately you do have to have some version of IE on a Windows based machine now, sad I know! But if it is only that you think it's crap and want to use Firefox, then you can set it up as the default browser. BTW, IE doesn't mess with how you connect to the internet, it's just an application that let's you see websites. Just wanted to make sure you understood that as someone else mentioned it in an earlier answer. [ trlblzr4u's advice column | Ask trlblzr4u A Question ]
