i got my period like a few months ago
and i still wear pads
but i really want to wear tampons
but everytime i go to put it in i dont do it right and im pretty sure im doing it right i just dont know how to get it in all the way

Is it possible that you can't insert it all the way because your hymen (a membrane which partially covers the opening of the vagina, mostly in sexually inexperienced girls) is not allowing the tampon inside? Some girls have a problem with that. If that's the case, you will have to either choose to force it, possibly breaking your hymen, or use pads.

It always takes a few trys the first time and you have to get use to it but once you get it then your good. You just have to relax and make sure yyou push it in all the way. There should be directions in the box that will help.

Tampons are tricky. Well first you need to get the right size. There should be a little chart on a tampon box that will tell you what size you need. Have you read the instructions that come with them? You do exactly as they tell you too. Don't feel afraid to push it up there because if you don't, it's gonna cause discomfort. If you do feel uncomfortable, try readjusting it or push it up a little bit higher. It would take you a couple or minutes to kinda get used to it. But it will take you a while to get completely used to it.
