I have two questions about my Dell Inspiron 600m.
1. My computer makes these lines on my computer screen whenever I scroll on a website or move a window around (almost like it is "ghosting"). I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows XP Pro. How would I resolve these "lines"?
2. I am missing the A, Q, and space bar keys. Where might I be able to get replacements just for the keys without replacing the whole keyboard?
trlblzr4u answered Monday January 1 2007, 7:23 pm: A couple different reason could be for this is: Not enough RAM; the video driver is out dated; or the video card is able to handle the graphics that come with XP. For the first one, check to see if you have at least 512MB of RAM. You could go to the dell website and see if there is a different video driver for your laptop version for the XP operating system. If neither of these works, then it would most likely be the third and that one might not be able to be resolved unless the video card is NOT integrated. Integrated means it's actually part of the mother board.
If you look on ebay or something like that you might a laptop keyboard. I personally have not seen just keys from a keyboard for sale. Sorry! [ trlblzr4u's advice column | Ask trlblzr4u A Question ]
