This is just a curiosity question for anyone over 30. Do you care what you looked like when you were a teenager, or in your 20's (such as if you fat, thin, or your hairstyle and clothes were awful) or do you only care about what you look like now? And why do you feel this way. Thanks
Additional info, added Monday January 1 2007, 8:04 pm: I deleted the question below as a separate question and am putting it in with this question due to the fact that they are related and it is easier to read the answers I get on one page instead of going back and forth to two separate questions.
SO HERE IS THE QUESTION: This is also for people 30 and above. Do you think your friends, relatives (mothers, father, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, etc) remember what you looked like (if you were thin, fat, your hair was frizzy/straight, etc) when you were in your teens, or 20's and above. Or your friends, relatives (mothers, father, sisters, brothers,
aunts, uncles, etc) only know what you look like now. And why do you feel this way.. Want to answer more questions in the Miscellaneous category? Maybe give some free advice about: Random Weirdos? Brandi_S answered Monday January 1 2007, 6:45 pm: Well, I'm not over 30, but rolling closer to that age by the minute. Rolling up on 29.
Sure I care about how I looked as a teenager. Hee-hee-hee... black hair, blonde hair, orange hair, blue hair, green hair, pink hair. It was jaw length on top and the bottom half of my hair was shaved off.
Yah, there was the phase I went through of wearing all black head to toe. Almost always wore black boots. No matter what the phase.
I went to a very small school. Everyone wanted to look the same. Not I, said the duck. I went to any extreme I could to prove I was a unique individual and not a blurred face in a crowd.
I dare to be different. Then and now.
What would be the point if I should try to look like Paris Hilton, or Lindsey Lohan, or whichever famous chick is hip on the scene right now? (I don't keep up with that kind of stuff, frankly.) The way I see it, and always have, is that Paris is Paris, and ygsgirl is ygsgirl. Personally, I like being me more. I don't want to be, act, dress, look, walk, or talk like anyone else.
The way I was as a teen molded the woman I am today. Bold, honest, and an individual. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]

When I was a teen, I was 110 lbs at most. Now I am 185 lbs. So, yeah, I do think about how I used to look. My hair and clothes haven't changed much. I have always just worn whatever feels comfortable. I think I always will. Sure, there was a period when my hair was terrible. I think about that, but only with a laugh about the circumstances of it (it was really bad and totally my mother's fault).
I guess my main thing is my weight. I don't want to weigh as little as I did then, but I sure would like to be a bit closer to it than I currently am. I miss the attention I got. In my late teens, early twenties, I was able to get whatever I wanted on looks and charm. At least, that is how it felt. I'd like to feel that way again. Sure, I'm married and love my husband. I would just like to know that people other than him notice me as being attractive. It seems shallow, I know, but sometimes it is a nice ego boost.
