i'm having a bit of a problem with an older man

Question Posted Thursday December 28 2006, 12:42 am

I like him and i'm not sure if he likes me.The problem is we work together and i'm not sure if i can take it anymore. He's always nice to me,says hi,listens to what i say and asks me how i am but i feel like we're just friends.not even that. He's all nice to me one minute. He's talkative and gives me good eye contact.i catch him staring at me.The next minute he's all quiet and i don't know what to do anymore.i feel like i am going crazy,i really like him but i don't know if he feels the same.

hey, alright well the only way your going to find out if he likes you as more of a friend is by asking him. sitting here advicenators asking us if he likes you isnt going to help! you need to take action and when you two are alone ask him. you cant keep living like this, day to day wondering what he thinks about you. the worst he is going to do is say no. but wouldnt you rather know? -- i would. also when your asking him tell him to give you an honest answer. tell him not to tell you just what you want to hear. if he did that then that wouldnt be being honest with you and giving you a real answer, now would it? if he says that he likes you, end it with a cutsie "would you like to grab a quick lunch with me at ______?". good luck =].

If you have a friend who works with you and she has the same hours as the guy you like you could ask her too ask him what he thinks about you like for example, if no ones talking she/he will say so (the guy you likes name) what do you think of (your name)? and hell tell him/her then that person can report back to you what he said and if he likes you then ask him out ;] you could also ask him out yourself, like for example say after your both done your shifts ask him if he wanted to get a bite to eat after work. That way you guys can get to know each other better and if he says sure then you know that maybe hes interested in you.It seems to me like the guy likes you so give it a shot GOOD LUCK!

One way you can find out is by smiling at him if he's passing you in the halls. If this guy likes you, he's eyes will brighten and he'll actually say hi. If he's the shy type, he'll just look down. If the guy just smiles the everyday, polite kind of smile, it means he just likes you as a normal classmate or a friend. If he frowns, well, that's an obvious sign of dislike.
Check his behavior with other people. If he acts the same way around them as he does to you, then he doesn't like you in that way.
If your guy's friends act weird around you while he's not with them, it means he talked about you to them.
And the DEAD give away: blushing. If he blushes to whatever you say, then ta da- he loves you!

Hope I've helped
