However, doing it the healthy way will take a little bit longer than if you skip eating all together, so hang in there! It will be so much better for your health in the long run and so much more rewarding knowing that you worked to be a size 5 the hard way, instead of living off celery and water for 2 weeks.
To lose weight, the experts suggest eating four to five small meals a day, at about 3 hour intervals. Make sure you're eating equal amounts of fruits/vegetables for vitamins, carbs for short-term energy, and protein for your muscles and long-term energy. Drinking water and skim milk will save you calories and not give you cravings like diet soda will.
Also, make sure you do at least 4 hours of cardio a week. (I.E. running, swimming, walking, biking, etc.) This is good for your heart and will help you lose fat all over your body. Just make sure to stay hydrated!
