ipod
i got an ipod nano for christmas
but i dont know how to transfer the music on my itunes to my ipod.
and i also heard that you can put music from myspace onto your itunes account, but i dont know how.
detailed steps are necessary.

if you already have music in iTunes, just plug your iPod in.
if you need to get music from myspace..
+ go to a myspace
+ click download
+ click save
+ go to iTunes
+file - import
+ find the file where you saved your music and click the song title.
**also, I usually put the songs I get from myspace on a cd, becasue if you delete the files of the song, the song won't play.

ok...i know how you feel. i got one for x-mas too (early though) and i stayed up from 6:00pm till after midnight friday trying to figure it out.
well...first thing you download itunes. (www.apple.com/ipod/start) either that website or the cd you get, although mine didn't hve a cd.
you must have gotten a cord that will allow you to charge and put music onto the ipod. when you have itunes you will connect the cord to the ipod and comp usb and itunes will automatically open.
this is how i got my songs on my ipod:
1. go to file and click on new playlist.
2. music would be imported into the itunes already..so you go to music on the side and click on it.
3. all ur songs on your comp will come up and you can either click and drag the songs you want into the playlist you made above orrr right click on the song and go to "add in playlist" and then select your playlist you made above.
4. then go to the ipod name under the devices section on the side and then the ipod will show with some details. go to music and there will be something where you can select if you want to add all the playlists or selected ones.
5. you can then pick the selected playlist option and then choose the playlist you want on ur ipod. then click apply..and all your songs go on from the itunes to the ipod.
for later use:
after the first use you will obiously want to add more songs.
either:
you can do steps 1-3 in the above. then after you finished the first 3 steps go to the file section on the top of the page and go right down to "sync ipod". (it's around the last few).
or:
you can create a new playlist (as listed above) and add your new songs. then do steps 4-5!

hey, alright well i dont know how to get songs from myspace. you can go to the apple website and download itunes from there. when you got your ipod for christmas you should have gotten a cord that you plug into your comptuer and the ipod. you have to plug that in and then it will transfer. also you can download limewire and get songs from there and put them on your ipod the same way. try reading the manual you got with your ipod or even call/email the apple company. you could also refer to the store that you purchased your ipod from or the apple store for more help.
