Question Posted Thursday December 28 2006, 3:00 am

ok so me and my boyfriend have tried having sex once before but it hurt really bad and a few other things happened and it just didn't work out completely. my question is, are there any way i can make it hurt less?
he fingers me right before and says im wet/relaxed enough but then as soon as he tried to put his penis in he couldnt, even though i felt i was relaxed too. also, the few times he did get in it hurt really really bad, i get that it's supposed to but are there any ways to make it hurt less?
thanks

well when you start out its gunna hurt. there isnt really a way to make it hurt less. all he can really do is be gentle and in the beginning be very slow. if you're really serioud about havin sex wiht him, it will work out and you will get used to it. it doesn't hurt as bad after a few times. just be careful and be gentle!!

Theres not really a way to make it hurt less. U just have to relax and not be so tight/tense. Once u do it a couple times you'll get use to the feelings. Just relax when he goes to put his penis in to you.

It's natural for it to hurt the first time. Your body isn't used to the action of it and it has never experienced that before. It is a very common, i know very few people who didn't have it hurt the first time. It really depends on the person, but it will probably hurt a few more times. After a while, you get used to it, but right now, it will probably hurt. I don't really know what might make it hurt less. Maybe going slower or using some type of lubricant. Other than that, if he is very...well endowed, then that is probably one of the reasons why it hurts a lot.
Hope I helped!

If it was your first time then it probably hurt so bad because you "popped your cherry"... I know it hurts a LOT...I wanted to cry my first time...my second time it only hurt for a couple of minutes...My boyfriend fingered me right before sex too...it helped the first time... Like snickerzz11 said try the lubricant...it might help!I hope this helps or at least prepares you for the next time! (but im not sure if it will!)but good luck...~Michelle~

You should use lubricant, like KY jelly (I don't have any personal experience with sex, but I have heard KY jelly is the best). Also, it probably hurt more this time because if it was your first time, then you broke your hymen, or "popped your cherry." It'll probably hurt less next time, as long as you use lubricant. Hope I helped =]
