for break's sake...a boyfriend would make a great gift!<-- s

Question Posted Friday December 22 2006, 8:21 pm

14/F

okay, so, i'll be blunt. i want a boyfriend....no, wait, scratch that, i NEED a boyfriend. There are many guys i'm interested in my school, but they don't seem to be interested in me. I don't know what to do. I'm shy, short and i don't think im all that good looking. but what girl doesn't think that about themselves? all of my friends have boyfriends... many infact. My very best friend is workin on her 8th...but this last one is steady (already 7 months!!), one of my other friends has a date practically every weekend, and i just feel lonely. I asked someone out in 7th grade so he would stay out of harms way with another girl who was gonna ask him. (the fact that i liked him too helped), but knew then that i wasn't ready becuase we didn't do nething, infact, we talked even less when we were "dating". well, i'm ready now. I'm so tired of being the third, fifth, or even 11th wheel. I want someone to hang out with and taht will like me for me, and will want to do stuff (like go to the movies or dinner or somethin). How do i get these guys, or any guys to notice me?? please remember, i'm shy...oh yea, and i NEVER want to ask out another guy as long as i live (except for turn-about)!

I really want a good break, so quick advice would be very appreciated and helpful!

thanks so much, and sry this is so long

Sounds like you are desperate. There is no reason why you really need a boyfriend besides being lonely. Just slow down and then before you know it you'll have a boyfriend. If you are so desperate and then you get a boyfriend you might be stuck with pain if the guy is a jerk. If you like a guy right now just talk to him even if you are shy you can try to get over that. Just pretend that he's one of your best friends and you can say anything to him. Start the conversation with an easy topic and he'll take it from there. Maybe a little flirting but don't make it so obvious just give him little hints. Hope you find the right guy.

you sound really... despreate
the thing to do is to just let thigs flow...
no reason to get so hyped up over not having a boyfriend... as for the "but what girl doesn't think that about themselves",
i dont think that way about myself

i think you have more of a cofidence problum than a no boyfriend problum
talk to your friends about hanging out at the mall just you guys

dont be despreate
guys want chickas who are sortof picky

and i feel ya with the lonly thing but i mean once you have a boyfriend that you are going steady with, you really REALLY miss the single life.
so consider yourself lucky, because you can do annything you want to.
you probly are like "wow that wasnt much help"

but it will be:)
luv emi
