ok so one of my best friends (14/m) is bi. he keeps falling for straight guys and will call me crying. i have no idea what to tell him. if theres anyone expierence in this subject from any side please help! i want him to be able to talk to me about this stuff, but i dont know what to say becasue im strait.
Like I said, support him. Tell him to think wisely before he falls for someone. You both have your differences but you can easily work them out if you two are there for each other when at times it's needed.
Being bisexual can be an issue. Understand people who are bisexual or homosexual are hard to be accepted to some people and are big stereotypes. But let him know it's OK to be bisexual, and that you are OK with it. Tell him to be self-confident with his sexual orientation.
peebles7 answered Monday December 18 2006, 9:07 pm: that must be really tough for him, and while it helps to be all nice and comforting, help him find a guy! find places in your town where gay kids and bi kids hang out, see if there are any gay pride parades/functions anything! he needs to fall for someone he can really have! you're straight, which means that you guys have something in common, you both like guys, so just like he confides his guy problems in you, do the same and make him feel like he is helping. Just don't be shy around the subject and say what you'd say to any of your other friends [ peebles7's advice column | Ask peebles7 A Question ]
