my eyeshadow gets creases

i wear liquid eyeshadow and whenever i wear it,i get like creases on my eyelids of built up eyeshadow.How can i put on eyeshadow without it creasing?

liquid eyeshadow just naturally does that. i would just use powder eyeshadow because it works better
