Christina was trying on a sweater which her mom liked and wanted to get as a present for Christinas aunt. So Christinas mom asked Christina what size she was trying on and Christina wanted to know why. And her mother said; Well if the sweater is a size 8, 10, 12 then it will be hard for me to judge what size to get but if it is a small, medium, large then it is easier for me to judge; Christina asked; mom do you think I am higher than an 8; and her mother said; No; But Christina
didnt let it go and asked again; Mom do you think I am higher than an 8; and her mother said; You are very thin, you look drawn: Christina was upset and her mother said to Christina; You look beautiful, I just dont want you to lose weight: So Christina asked her mom; Do you think I should gain weight: and her mother said "No I just dont want you to lose weight; OK HERE IS THE REST OF THE STORY: A WEEK LATER AFTER CHRISTINAS VACATION WAS COMING TO A CLOSE HER MOTHER WENT OVER TO Christina AND SAID; Christina YOU DO NOT LOOK DRAWN ANY MORE AND THE REASON YOU DONT LOOK DRAWN ANY MORE IS YOU FINALLY HAVE TAKEN A VACATION - THE LAST ONE YOU TOOK WAS TWO YEARS AGO. YOU LOOK GOOD. Christina on the last day of her vacation told her friends the two conversations she had with her mom and they said (1) When someone is thin like you and they look drawn they look even thinner then they are and (2) Now your mother is saying you no longer look drawn: (3) and she never thought you should gain, she just does not want you to lose. MY QUESTION: DO YOU AGREE WITH CHRISTINAS FRIENDS?
