when ever you take your rabbit out just keep food near him and maybe you could make a little pen in your backyard for your rabbit to run around him that way the only thing for him to nibble on would be food or grass
i hope that helps

try getting a sal lick from a pet store they really love them and you could also build or buy a rabbit pen so then it can be outside. but make sure to check on it every 30 minutes or so but ya try the salt lick it should help alot.

I used to have a "dwarf" rabbit as well (the pet store owner told us she was a dwarf rabbit.. but she grew to be humongous XD). ANYWAYS... heheh... there are lots of things available at pet stores that you can buy for your rabbit to chew on (I don't think rabbits really "play" like dogs or cats do) and what we used to do for our rabbit was get a large pen (tall so she couldn't jump over it) and put it outside in our backyard for a few hours (with her food and water bowl). She really enjoyed being in the grass and burrowing a bit in the dirt, she'd also have fun chewing little branches and sticks. It's really good for rabbits to get some air outside of the house. But just as a safety precaution, don't leave them outside too long if it's really hot or cold, always take them in at night, and check up on them every 20 minutes or so to make sure they're ok. Another thing you could do is to "rabbit proof" a specific room, that is, choose one room to be completely rabbit friendly where you can hide all wires, etc. without a problem. ]
try buying your rabbit some chew toys. i used to have a guinea pigg who chewed on everything it could get its grubby lil paws on! =/ but if you go to a pet store, dey should have sum wooden chew toys dat should keep your rabbit busy. or try givin your rabbit a carrot. =] lol hope i helped!
sincerely,

Okay, first buy him some wood to chew on, you can get those at a pet store. They look like food. Second you can buy a enclosed playpen at a pet store as weel. It comes with a fence and a mat. Good luck to you and your rabbit! ]
