I strongly recommend BitTorrent. Its not illegal, and its free. I use it, and it works really well. And if you want to download a full CD you can. [ KETCHUP's advice column | Ask KETCHUP A Question ]

schlichtinator answered Tuesday December 12 2006, 8:19 pm: If you don't mind downloading a client, limewire.com and bearshare.com are, in my limited experience, the best options.
A torrent website is you best bet if you don't want to download a program.
But really, the best thing you can do is download a few songs from the bands that you're looking into and go buy their album. Not only is it morally righteous, but you support the artist, and get MUCH better sound quality than downloaded 128kbps mp3s. [ schlichtinator's advice column | Ask schlichtinator A Question ]
