Before you spray, try getting Chi 44 Iron Guard. I sometimes straighten my hair, but when I do, I spray Chi all over my hair, and brush it out. Remember to brush it because if you don't, it will become hard and stuff. Then go ahead and straighten your hair. I use that spray stuff and it works really well. You can find the Chi 44 Iron Guard at State Beauty Supply. Or look here:

Hope I helped! :]

1. Try to embrace your frizzy, wavy hair. Mine's the exact same. So wash your hair then apply frizz serum right when you get out of the shower. Then, when your hair is dramp 'scrunch' it with Curling Mousse. When its dried a little bit, curl any 'not perfect' strands with a curling iron then shake your hair to loosen it up to match the other waves. Be sure to hairspray when done! :)

If this doesn't work for you, or you do not like the curlyhead look:
1. Wash your hair with SunSilk Hydra TLC, I love it. Or you could try Pantene Restorative shampoo+conditioner (its supposed to reverse damage from up to two years) I'm not sure how great it works because its too pricey for me.

2. Right before you straighten your hair, apply CHI 44 Iron Guard spray. (About $8, but really worth it!) You can buy that from any beauty supply store, its amazing. Spray lightly on each layer and comb thru then straighten your hair normally. This is a heat-protectant.

3. Once a month/week do a deep conditioning treatment. Many brands make these, pick which one you like the best. This will renew moisture.

4. Wash your hair once every two days. This will save your hairs natural oils making it more soft and healthy.

Good Luck :)
