iPod Limewire

Question Posted Monday December 11 2006, 4:45 pm

I'm getting an iPod nano (second generation) and I was wondering if I should download Limewire. Some of my friends have told me it give their computer viruses, while others tell me it works fine. My computer's about 4 years old, it's a desktop from Dell. Should I use Limewire, or just stick with iTunes?

What most people who have limewire don't realize is that it is spyware, it will give you popups and slow your computer down, it's wrecked 1 computer I had. Also it's next to impossible to remove it. If you're okay with having a slow computer (also be aware that limewire has a lot of viruses and porn on it- and you can't tell just by looking at the file name) then get it, but Itunes is easier and works better with Ipods.

avoid files ending with .exe and virus scan before opening them and you should be fine.

Ehh. Tough desision.
If you have a virus protector, id say go for it.
But if you really don't want viruses
stick with the legal downloads =D
