I hear a lot of bad stuff about first time sex for a girl, so what do you think, is it better to do it yourself, I mean first masturbate and use some smaller dildo, and later have sex with a guy, or do you think it's better to do it with a guy first?
----------------------------------------------
Gee do you really want to experience your first vaginal penetration with a fake "penis?" A lot of dildos/vibrators are bigger than a lot of guys by the way, sorry. Anyway, the real question is are you ready for such a monumental event in your life? Sex is not just physically invasive for a woman! Age aside, sex is emotional (especially for us females) and is most satisfying with someone we are in love with and feel safe with (especially the first time). Arm yourself with plenty of k-y and condoms, and make sure that you are really ready to go all the way. There is no taking back your first experience. It can be physically painful the first several times depending on both your anatomy and his, and whether or not you both take care and time to go slow and stay lubed up. I hope for your sake that the guy is a someone special to you and you to him. [ BitsandPieces's advice column | Ask BitsandPieces A Question ]
Melody answered Monday December 11 2006, 5:08 pm: It's not as bad as most girls make it out to be. These days prepuberesent, frightened girls the size of my pinky are having sex with a full grown man. Of course it's going to hurt them. They aren't ready, they aren't naturally lubricated, and they're nervous as heck. They will tighten up, and it will end up with the girls being in excruciating pain.
On the other hand, if you are ready, well lubricated, and relaxed, it won't hurt as bad. If your hymen hasn't been ripped yet, you may feel a little pain for a few seconds
(maybe accompanied with a little blood), but besides that all you will feel is a little pressure. I won't lie, you may be sore a few days afterwards, considering nothing besides maybe a tampon or a finger has been up there before, but nothing terrible.
If your first time is special, and the guy isn't so exited that he can't ease himself in you without hurting you, then masturbating to loosen yourself up isn't actually required. It's basically up to you. It may hurt a little, considering it's the first thing that big that's ever been up there, but I assure you that you'll be fine.
If you are a small girl that hasn't ever been fingered, or used a tampon, or had anything up there before, maybe masurbate a little. Not to much, but enough to get your body used to the idea. On the otherhand, if you are a wideset girl that has been at least touched up there, then don't worry about it unless it's for your personal security. In the end though, the choice is completely up to you. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
Razhie answered Monday December 11 2006, 2:30 pm: It's best to simply be ready for sex, confident and secure in your decision to have sex.
It doesn't matter much if you masturbate or not. All masturbation will really help you with is knowing what you like. Sex is completely different from pretty much any kind of self manipulation. Using a dildo will not deal with the actual problems that most girls face on their first time: being stressed and being dry.
Quite honestly a girl’s first time does not have to be painful. It's made painful by rushing, by worrying, by being stressed out, by being uncomfortable and by all those feelings getting in the way of really throwing yourself into the act.
If you want to masturbate, go for it. If you don’t want to, don’t. It won’t be a factor that matters much when it comes to your first time. Worry about the person you choose, the timing, and your own mental preparedness rather then what you’ve stuck up yourself. Those are the things that will actually make a difference.
