Okay I'm 14 years old..I have this really good guy friend and we were talking on the phone one night and i was like yea im going to the mall next weekend and hes like ohh i live on the way to that mall you should pick me up and i was like okay and i thought it would be fun and not ackward because we were just friends at the time..well now were going out and we are still planning on going. Since im only 14 obviously my mom is driving me hehe..and so yea im scared that the ride there is going to be really super ackward..any ways to make it not so ackward because the mall is like 1/2 hour away..thanks so much!! LM answered Saturday December 9 2006, 12:06 pm: Just strike up a conversation! Talk like it's one of your friends and your mom in the car- not your boyfriend. That's how it should be anyways, regardless if you're dating them.
Talk about the weather, where you're gonna shop, anything! What do you talk about with friends a lot? Just do that!
