West highland terriors [westies]

Question Posted Monday December 4 2006, 4:15 pm

I want to get another westie. I have a little girl dog, right now, who is 2. I'm not trying to replace her or anything, but I just want one for christmas, & I think my parents will get me one. I would get a little boy dog..the only thing I'm worried about, is the girl dog that i have now, will get jealous of the new one. I mean, shes soooooo spoiled. Like for christmas.. i spent already 200 dollars, on her. & im not done yet. sooo yeahhh. & she know shes like the cutest little thing in the world too.

So, anyways.. I'm wondering, how she will get along with the new dog [which will also be a westie] & stuff like that...
or any experience you have with having 2 westies?

Holy shit. That dog is spoiled. But it depends on if your dog has interacted with other dogs. When she sees other dogs does she bark angrily or sniff their butts? If she barks angriliy, the new puppy might not be that great of an idead. If she sniffs their butts, it should be fine. But either way, dont let the two dogs meet at home. Take them to meet at a park so your dog now wont feel as territorial.

she probably will act like ooh give me the attentio ncuz i have 2 poodles. and i spoiled htis first one. but she has to learn she cant be spoiled lol. i mean you have to still give her tons and tons of attention. but she will learn to love him. i mean now my dog is doing fine and tit has been like a few months.
