I use Remington Wet2Style. It's a great straightener for its price range & works very well. Just make sure oyu use a protecting prodcut with it, since it's not ceramic.

I recommend VO5 Miracle Mist and a serum like Garnier Fructis or Paul Mitchell Super Skinny.

Also, Pantene Smooth&Sleek shampoo.conditioner really work! They'll smooth out frizz and make your hair smoother. Another good one is Sunsilk for Kinky Hair =)

With all these products together, my hair stays almost completely straight. And with everyone else that uses them (mother, friends, aunts that I've these same products on) their hair stays STICK straight.

Just make sure you wear a hoodie/coat/carry an umbrella, since moisture is your enemy now. Hairspray is great for this- personal faves are Bed Head Spoil Me ($17-19 at salons, but it's incredible) and Herbal Essences Max Hold Hairspray ($3-4 at CVS, WalMart, etc.- a budget-friendly option that works very well & doesn't get sticky)

if you want more product recommendations or anything (chances are good I've tried any product that comes to mind) feel free to ask!
