Poser and Hating It

Question Posted Sunday December 3 2006, 4:34 pm

A lot of people have this problem but I can't figure out what to do.
My personality changes around guys. It's sort of like I'm trying to impress them, mold myself to who they want me to be, hoping I'll get a boyfriend. The thing is, it's never worked out that way, I've never gotten a boyfriend.

I really want to be able to relax and be myself around guys. T

his is harder than you think, so if anyone's gone through this, how did you manage it?

Haha i did that sorta. And kinda still do. You just need to learn to be yourself. A guy isnt worth it if he doesnt like you for you. So remember that while you are talking to guys. And maybe get a friend who will monitor you around guys when she is near by and she can tell you when you are forming yourself to them

Dear Poser and Hating It,
I understand what you mean because I've gone through it myself. But really, be yourself. If you're trying to impress a guy, it means your changing from your origial personalitly, and believe it or not, guys are acutally more attracted to girls who are themselves and not trying to impress them. I hope this helped, let me know how things went. Good Luck!
Sincerly,
Lisa xox
