Lame Party

Question Posted Sunday December 3 2006, 12:24 pm

My friend was supposed to be having this really big party on Friday night. So I invited my crush, who is a big partier, hoping that we might hook up at the party. Well anyways, the night that I invited him, I found out the party might be a lot smaller than I'd been originally told. So I warned him it might be tiny the next day at school.

That night him and his cousin showed up at the "party" - which was completely dead. I felt so bad, and he ended up leaving after like five minutes. I don't know how to redeem myself now. What should I do??

situations like this always happen in life,

At school or whenever you talk to him, just be like,"Hey, sorry about the party. I know it wasn't that much fun, but I didn't realize it was going to be THAT tiny. Sorry if it bored you. I just wish you would've hung around we could've hung out together and talked." And just laugh.

If he's a good guy, he'll just laugh along with you and everything'll be fine.

I hope I helped.

Well whenever situations like this happen in life, and they're gonna happen alot probably, you just got to start learning how to just laugh it off.

At school or whenever you talk to him, just be like,"Hey, sorry about the party. I know it wasn't that much fun, but I didn't realize it was going to be THAT tiny. Sorry if it bored you. I just wish you would've hung around we could've hung out together and talked." And just laugh.

I know you like this guy. So sorry for my answer ahead of time.

Have you ever thought though that he just came for the party? Didn't hang around to be with you? That makes him sound pretty rude to me.

Maybe you should consider yourself lucky that you found out he was only interested when a party was involved.

I wouldn't give him any explanation. He didn't earn one. :)
