tragus
i pierced my second and both my cartiliges before and i still have earings in them... i was just wondering if i pierced my tragus would that be more dangerous since its not part of the lobe? and if someone has pierced it themselves before, does it hurt alot?

I have it. and the pain wasn't bad. Of course after having it done, it stung for a few seconds and throbbed for a little while, but other than that the only time it would hurt is if it got knocked or accidently turning on it whilst sleeping.
I wouldn't recommend you piercing this yourself though because it's quite thick and in this particular spot, it's easy to get placement wrong, leading to future problems. It's also wise to get correct jewelry inserted too :)

DO NOT attempt to peirce your own tragus. my friend tried this and it got extremely infected and it hurt her so bad she didnt even get it all the way through.. Its not the same as peircing your cartlidges. The skin is thicker. you should get it done professioanly to be on the safe side.
