Question Posted Friday December 1 2006, 11:23 pm

My myspace will not let me reply or message people. I press reply, and i type my message & everything goes normal. When i go to my inbox though, it says that i have only read the message, and when I go to the sent link, it says i never sent the message. Also, they person never gets the message. It's impossible to reach Tom about the problem, so does anybody know?

Well that is what happens when someone blocks you, but I doubt that your trying to talk to someone who isnt your friend. =]

Change your password because there are alot of hackers and bugs going around myspace at the moment.

If you see a login page randomly when you click to go to someones profile or something, that means its something to get your password. So when that happens just go to the homepage of myspace so you know for a fact its not a fake.

Good luck!

PS: Ive had to change my pw many times, its annoying but worth it.

taylorbugg. thats the exact opposite of what toms message said. his said if messages are being sent or bullitnes posted from your account that you didnt do yourself, then you got phished. quite different.

are you sure everything is going normal? ive had a problem occasionally, but it gives me an error. maybe your browser isnt recognizing it, and thinks nothing is wrong. when replying, try deleting all the text in the message first. also, it seems to be triggered by certain mispellings common to spam messages. try using good spelling and capitilization.

you can also try emailing them, i think its support@myspace.com

tom posted somethin about this sometime this week...he said that if the messages you send or the bulletins you post don't show up that you need to change your password. he said that people were doing something called phishing...so try changing your pw.

it's not impossible to reach him..
go to toms myspace, hit messege to send him a messege.

it'll take you to a F.A.Q. section.
somewhere around there it will say something like "Does this not answer your question?" click there or on the provided link. it will take you to another page which has pull down boxes that let you choose your issue. if your problem's not there, just put it on the choice "other". after you've done this it will take you to a messege form. it says "this message does not go directly to tom..etc." it's because it doesn't. it goes to the people who work with the site and make changes, etc. type out what your problem is, then send it. sometimes they will messege you back letting you know they understand the problem, and are working on it. or, sometimes they will just take it into concideration, and fix it with no reply.

hope this helps. :]
