Question Posted Wednesday November 29 2006, 9:52 pm
Ive used tampons before and all. And get it in just fine no problems at all. My problem is getting it out. Its not "wet" enough. I dont have heavy enough flow, so it hurts getting it out. I use the lowest absorbency, the platex slim fits for teens. I cant use pads because i'm on the swimming team. How do i get it to come out without it hurting?

If you tense up, then it's going to be harder to pull it out. So just relax your muscles, and try pulling it out. It still might hurt for a while, but you should get used to it in some time. You could also try pulling it out a little faster. I mean, don't yank it out or anything, but don't pull it out really slowly, because that is just going to make the pain last longer. But yea, the main thing is to just relax. If that is the problem, then try relaxing and see if it helps a little bit. It wont stop the pain, but it will help.

Some of the pee will like absorb into the tampon giving it more "wetness". Also, remember to relax! :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
