going back to school

im homeschooled, but i am so ready to go back to school. Someone said that if you are homeschooled, you have to wait until the next semester to start back regular school, but i really dont want to wait until january. so is it true that you have to wait? or can you start abck school at anytime? please helppp !

That's totally untrue. Kid's join my school in the middle of the semester all the time, and actually, I have before too! I was actually in the same case as you. Homeschooled going back to school. You can join whenever you want though!

i think you should wait until january because if you start now, you would be lost. You wouldn't know what are the kids learning, and there's a final exam coming up soon. Its better to wait for a new semster so that case you would know what's the teacher is teaching. hope that helps. good luck!

I would imagine it is easier to start at semester for purposes of grading and credits. You really won't be there long enough at this point for it to count toward anything. I'm just not sure how home school credits are figured in with the public school system.

I don't suppose it will make a big difference though if you want to go now and get started. It would be something to go into the school and speak with the guidance counselor about. :)
