is it wrong to take a traner from lost and found

in p.e i say a traneis so i decided to take it i took it home and brought it to school the next day and one of my friend suspected that i took it from lostand found place and i started to lie so the came up to me and told to say the truth where i got that traniers from but i was till lieing and now the say i should bring it to school

Yes it is wrong to take something that isn't yours even if it is in lost and found, but i don't see anything wrong with browing it for the day if you have forgotten yours. if you found it you should turn it into lost and found, i'm pretty sure the owner of that pair of trainers is looking for it... but i don't see why your friends have to demand you prove to them that you 'arn't' lying... hope that helps ^^
